The above website is to the Oregon Online ATV Saftey Education Course. This is a requirment for riders riding on public lands. NOTE: This is NOT the same course that manufacturers offer when someone purchases a new machine. That group is the ATV Safety Institute.

This site is to the All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute® (ASI®), a not-for-profit division of the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America® (SVIA®), was formed in 1988 to implement an expanded national program of all-terrain vehicle (ATV) safety education and awareness. ASI's primary goal is to promote the safe and responsible use of ATV's, thereby reducing accidents and injuries that may result from improper ATV operation by the rider. When machine manufacturers offer a free ATV training course when someone purchases a new machine, this is the organization which does that training.
